Fuqua Construction Inc.

DESIGN BUILD

Our preferred method of contracting is Design Build. We work together as a team: owner, builder and design professional, to design and build your project.  Your mission will always be at the forefront in the process. We have experience with many architects and are willing to work with the architect of your choice. We will attend committee meetings and work together with you on your schedule. We offer our experience from past projects in a trusted relationship that assures you a quality building designed and built to fit your specific needs – with a fair price.

WE UNDERSTAND CHURCH CONSTRUCTION

It is a high priority to Fuqua Construction Inc. to employ people who are knowledgeable, competent and respectful of the work we do and the people we work for. We emphasize good workmanship and attention to detail. Building churches carries a responsibility to the congregation for a good experience during construction as well as a quality finished project. A church building project provides the church with new visibility in their neighborhood, making it important to have a wholesome crew on site. A church’s mission to the community can be enhanced during construction as the community sees the growth and activity.

Our Projects

Featured Work

CrossPoint Church, Hutchinson, KS
Rod Sims, Executive Pastor

“Fuqua is someone you can trust with a project of this scope. He listened to us and gave us ideas as we discussed what we wanted to accomplish with the project. He’s also let us know exactly what everything is going to cost and gave us options to help us stay on track with our budget.”

McPherson Christian Church, McPherson, KS
Emma Perera, Sanctuary Chairperson

“As the project moved from design to construction phase, the sense of partnership drew stronger. Max, owner; Bob Griffin, project manager; and Steve Basinger, job site manager were easy to work with and available whenever needed. Construction workers were very sensitive that the building was still being used every day and every effort was made to contain dust and reduce obstacles to the church staff.”

Pleasant View Home, Inman, KS
Kevin Reimer, CEO

“Max and his crew’s experience building in long-term care, their knowledge of regulations and their creativity are invaluable. You will never regret using them as your builder when you get the keys. And their follow-up is very good after the project.”

Inspector for Kansas Department of Aging (former)
Al Gutierrez

“It is my job to do a thorough inspection to ensure the facility is in compliance. I have worked with Max in the past and I was not expecting any big problems. I was not disappointed. There were no deficiencies with the building. (Assisted Living Addition, Memorial Home, Moundridge, KS) That’s not very typical in this business. In my five years on this job, I average 30 to 40 inspections every year. I can count on one hand the number of times this has happened.”
